John Young Ki Hong Murdered
Dear Friend:
Greetings! We write this note to you with deep respect and high regards for
your distinguished leadership.
As you may recall, the late John Young Ki Hong, 59, was murdered on
December 31, 2001 in Norristown, Pennsylvania. However, we were advised,
as of February 4, 2002, that the investigation was progressing slowly and
that the law enforcement authorities had very little information about the
person/people who murdered brother Hong despite significant time and effort
invested by many skilled and dedicated detectives and police officers.
The good news is, nevertheless, that we have been assured that the Montgomery
County District Attorney and the Norristown Police will continue to vigorously
pursue those responsible for this horrible crime.
In this context, we would like to play a small part and join the leading
effort** by raising reward money for information leading to the arrest and
prosecution of those responsible for this killing. Fortunately, reward money
has been shown to be a valuable tool, according to the authorities, in the
investigation of this nature in the past.
Wouldn't you want to support and join the force? Please make your generous
contribution/pledge to "The Support Fund To Arrest Those Responsible for
the Killing of Brother Hong" ("The Hong Fund"***). Even a small
donation will help. Any giving you could make to this project would be most
welcome and most appreciated.
The late John Young Ki Hong was one of us trying to make it in this new land
of opportunity that we call America My Country. Thank you.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Sang Joo Kim / signed
